Lisa has both southern and northern roots, having been born in New Orleans, raised in New Jersey, and schooled in Virginia, with a little time in Venezuela and the Chicago suburbs as well. When she’s not in the church nursery, you can probably find Lisa within a mile of her house…volunteering at school, on the soccer field with her girls, running, walking her dog, or dreaming up another home improvement project.

Jeremy Goodwyne

Worship Director
(704) 564-8181

He and Julie welcomed to the world their long-awaited firstborn son, Abel Watts Goodwyne, in December of 2016.

A multi-instrumentalist and stylistically ranged singer, Jeremy loves to identify and develop artistic ability in others, and Uptown has proved fertile ground for just that. His desire is to direct worship that honors God, encourages his people, and facilitates divine encounter. He believes that the Creator and originator of art and beauty made creative people in his image to create beautiful art. Helping people live out the Imago Dei in their musical and artistic creativity is a passion of his.
